How cloud sharing works

Automatic upload

Upload begins the instant your recording finishes — no separate step.

Verified before cleanup

The temporary local copy is only removed once the cloud upload is confirmed retrievable.

Public unlisted links

Every recording gets a private, unlisted share link the moment it's ready.

Anyone with the link can view

No sign-in required to watch — just the exact link.

Rename

Give a recording a clearer title any time after upload.

Archive

Tidy your active library without losing the recording or its link.

Download

Save the original file to your device whenever you need it.

Delete

Permanently remove a recording — this immediately breaks its public link.

Account ownership

Only the account that uploaded a recording can manage it.

What cloud sharing does not do

To keep expectations accurate: RecBeam's share links are not password-protected, are not invite-only, and do not provide viewer analytics, comments, or automatic expiration. A link stays reachable by anyone who has it until you delete the recording. Treat a share link the way you'd treat any private but unencrypted link.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to click "upload" myself?

No. Upload starts automatically as soon as a recording finishes.

What happens to the local copy after upload?

It's removed only once RecBeam has verified the upload finished and the video is actually retrievable. If verification fails, the local copy is kept.

Who can watch a shared recording?

Anyone with the exact link. Links are unlisted — not searchable or indexed — but they are not password-protected.

Can I see who watched my recording?

No. RecBeam does not provide viewer analytics.

Can I add comments to a shared video?

Not currently. RecBeam focuses on recording, uploading and sharing, not on-page discussion.

Do links expire?

No. A share link stays active until you permanently delete the recording.

Upload once. Share everywhere.

Record with RecBeam and your video is ready to share in minutes.
